Protection and security of personal data

The Internet user may be asked to voluntarily provide certain personal data by answering the forms (Contact) that are offered on the Site. The provision of this data is necessary for Delta Box SAS to process the Internet user’s request.

  • Legal representatives, corporate officers and authorized individuals of a corporate client of Delta Box SAS;
  • Beneficial owners and shareholders of a legal entity that is a client of Delta Box SAS;

Why and on what basis do we use your personal data ?

On the Site, Delta Box SAS collects personal data from Internet users who have contacted it, in particular via the online contact form. The purpose of processing this personal data is to enable Delta Box SAS to respond to your requests.

To which category of entities may your personal data be disclosed ?

The personal data collected on the Site is processed solely by the members of the Delta Box SAS team. Personal data is stored on hosting servers located in the European Union. Delta Box SAS guarantees the confidentiality of the personal data processed and ensures that the individuals authorized to process the personal data also undertake to respect this confidentiality obligation.

Certain regulated professions such as lawyers, notaries and auditors.

Data transfer outside the european economic area (EEA)

In the case of international transfers from the European Economic Area (EEA) :

  • If the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision recognizing a certain country as having a level of protection of personal data equivalent to that provided by EEA legislation, your personal data will be transferred on that basis.
  • If the level of protection has not been recognized as equivalent by the European Commission, we either rely on a derogation applicable to the situation (for example: in the case of international payments, the transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract), or on the implementation of one of the appropriate guarantees to ensure the protection of your personal data (standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, binding company rules)

How long do we keep your personal data ?

We keep your personal data for the longest period of time necessary to comply with the applicable laws and regulations for another period of time taking into account operational constraints such as effective customer relationship management.

  • As far as customers are concerned, most of the information is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after the end of the contractual relationship;
  • For prospective customers, the information is kept for 3 years from the date of collection or from our last contact with you.

In accordance with the applicable regulations, if you consider that the processing of your personal data constitutes a violation of the legislation in force, you are entitled to file a complaint with the competent control authority such as the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) – (National Commission of Information and Freedom) in France.

Cookies

Third-party audience measurement cookies

The data generated by these cookies concern the use of the Site and the IP address of the Internet user in order to determine the city of connection (this data is then immediately made anonymous). The collected data is transmitted and stored by Google Inc. on its servers in the United States and Europe. During email marketing campaigns generated by Delta Box, MailChimp records activity, performance and commitment statistics. MailChimp links the behaviour of a visitor on the site to the recipient of an e-mailing marketing campaign in order to measure the effectiveness of the campaign.

Third-party cookies: social networks

Third-party cookies are also generated by share buttons on social networks. These share buttons give the user the ability to become more engaged by sharing information with others through certain social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and Google+. These share buttons create a link to the social networks and identify the user through these social networks once the sharing has been activated. The lifetime of these cookies does not exceed 13 months.

Delta Box SAS has no control over the process of collecting personal data and the processing of social networks. To learn more about the data collected, you should consult the different privacy policies of these social networks.

Responsibilities

Delta Box SAS declines all responsibility for any malfunctions that may occur on the Site and result in the loss of data or unavailability of access to information produced on the Site. Delta Box SAS cannot guarantee the completeness and truthfulness of the information on the Site and the absence of modification by a third party (intrusion, virus). Any downloaded content is done at the user’s own risk and under his sole responsibility. DeltaBox, can not be held responsible for any damage to the user’s computer or any loss of data resulting from downloading. The present terms and conditions of the www.delta-box.com website are governed by French law and any dispute or litigation that may arise from the interpretation or execution of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts on which the company’s registered office depends. The language of reference, for the settlement of any disputes, is French.
