Our Pilot Control Lighting (PCL) system allows a remote control of the ON/OFF of our beacons, dedicated to small airports and helidecks. The system is provided with a push button feature that the pilot will use on the radiofrequency of the helicopter or aircraft.
Our PCL includes 3 protected outputs with Type II circuit breakers. In standard, 3 clicks on the remote controller in less than 5 seconds allow the helipad to be lit up for 15 minutes.
All the functionalities can be programmed as required in the provided software.
We can also configure the software in order to provide dimming to the beacons, with thresholds of 100%, 30%, 10% (for instance).
Beacons located within helipads are defined by the Annex 14, Volume I, Chapter V « Visual Aids ». These regulations indicate the type of light and the required technical characteristics for all the lights dedicated to helipad marking.
Our Pilot Control Lighting system gives a remote control of the Helipad through radiofrequency and complies with the ICAO and FAA L854 regulations.
