DELTA BOX installs its beacons on the fourth longest bridge of the world !

Kuwait did the inauguration on May 1st, 2019, of a 36-km bridge spread out on the waters of the Gulf region, and introduced as a piece of art within the world of construction.

The « Jaber » Bridge, established in the name of the late Emir Jaber al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, will connect the capital of Kuwait to the region of Subiyah, soon to represent an economic free trade zone close to the maritime borders of Irak and Iran.

The construction of this work of art formed a technical challenge : 36 km of concrete on the sea with ramps, two 30-hectare artificial islands and two polders of 30 and 60 hectares. If we add the 12,4 km part connecting to Doha, this bridge represents one of the biggest in the world with a total of 48,5km.
